Finally someone said it!!! And I know whom you're talking about here; I couldn't agree more with your opinions on that "influencer." It's such a hypocritical act to get followers based on your "body positivity" and then use your social media fame to get surgery just to fix your insecurities. It's not wrong to get plastic surgery, but if you tell people to love themselves the way they are and you don't preach what you're saying, then you're nothing but a pathetic liar. Thanks for writing on this issue. 🤍
Honestly cause I don’t know what she stands for anymore. I used to really admire her but now I don’t think I understand her. You can’t preach body positivity, tell girls to love themselves the way they are and then go get surgery. You shouldn’t have done anything in the first place
I feel so bad for the little girls traumatized by this.
So true and such a needed call-out. In a world of quick content and curated personas, it’s easy to forget that real value takes depth, not just aesthetics.
That’s why I focus on storytelling with substance especially in B2B health, where trust isn’t built by trends, but by truth. Appreciate this honest take.
I also feel people who build brands around their trauma make it hard or almost impossible for people who genuinely want to let their pain out to be comfortable sharing it... This might be a controversial perspective but sometimes the person sharing isn't the problem. It's the person who reads or watches and thinks of the video as a justification... My opinion though🥲
Not just trauma... Mental illnesses are also being glorified... It has me confused because why are the people who actually have these illnesses coming up and sharing them as though they're a norm and everyone should have a diagnosis? I think the average human just wants people to experience the pain they're going through so as to feel comfortable in their own pain🥲
That’s why I was telling you that it’s easy to say you’ll never be something or never do something until you’re in the position to do so, then you’ll realise that maybe you’re not as upstanding as you think.
Anyways, this is why we encourage everybody not to believe anything or anybody on the internet.
Find grounding in yourself, too bad for her followers fr.
Trauma can be healed. Check judgement at the door. Author do you believe in free will? Have you ever refocused? Rebranded? Started recycling when you hadn’t before? Please, please be kind and yes, check your judgement at the door. If we all reminded ourselves to stop judgement of ourselves and others, believe me, we would all be much happier. Simply my two cents worth.
Okay? To heal? In Private?????!!!!! Let’s agree to disagree. Appreciate the point you attempt to make, unfortunately it doesn’t wash. But I appreciate the response and also understand this freedom of will to live our own life can be hard to grasp. Basically she’s not a commodity, she’s a human being. Free. To choose what she wants to do with her own body. In a way it’s saying big, small, anything - it’s all good. I’m purely going from only the details you’ve provided here.
I actually know this girl and honestly I just from her page and her followers are hurt and angry. It's seems like her niche is packaging trauma because her latest content is all about her break up now. And people are already tired of her 😩

I don't even know what to say. I can imagine what her followers must be feeling rn
Likeee betrayal in its finest

Thank you for your lovely input❤️
Nah! I’m not even your target audience with this piece but you are amazing. Authenticity over Aesthetics. Amazing amazing amazing.
Thank you🥹
👏👏👏👏
Lara. You've been on a hotsreak Icel 🙇. As my government teacher once told me "more grease to your elbow 😂."

Half the things on the internet aren’t real anyway
Exactly 💯

Actually it’s not normal
I know 😂
Hypocrisy is a staple of human nature.

Actually o, believe at your own risk
Now they all look ridiculous
Never say never🥲
It’s just sad for them tbh.

Of course trauma can be healed.
I just don’t believe in healing at others’ expense.
It’s okay to heal in private
Just don’t drag us along and mess with our emotions

Sure. Maybe you should check her out so you can fully understand the emotional trauma some of her followers are going through right now.
