I read this thing laughing. Not because it is funny but because if I don’t laugh I’ll cry 😂
They should just sell the country at this point and let the citizens share the proceeds. I don’t know what we’re doing. Suffering is not okay, don’t let nobody deceive you.
This was intriguing, and it is not a lie. Not only bosses actually. Anyone that feels like they are ahead of you for some reason and you might need their assistance tends to overdo shit. They wont respect you as a person, outrageous demands and generally, they talk down on you.
I was groaning throughout because I've experienced most of the things you talked about here. And the way people make it seem like you are the weird one for pointing out how wrong these things are only adds salt to the wound.
And that's why when people go abroad and see how things are supposed to work, it's strange to them.
These things are not normal, and they should never be.
And those who make it seem like the norm are part of the problem.
To think there are people on X that have formed a group, where they mock and ridicule people that come out to challenge these horrible norms, just makes me wonder where we’re going as a nation.
Because why would you be so comfortable with suffering, with the bare minimum, with living on vibes and survival, that even when people speak up and try to change these twisted narratives, you stand up against them, shut them up, and try to make them look like “they’re going too much”.
All that one na gist for another day. You see this country ehn, we are just blaming Tinubu all of us are doing something wrong. And I'm saying all of us cause nobody is perfect. Because it's not Tinubu that said an Exàm officer should not upload students' results for no reason at all
Nigeria can be defined as a country where 95% of its citizens are built on SURVIVAL! and MADNESS. And a country where people glorify suffering and hardship.
Survival mentality is ruining a lot of things in this country…
Nigerians are their problems 🤦🏾♀️, normalizing the wrongs. When that girl was reported missing, some people were laughing and saying things like "nh man house she go". Like wtf do you mean?!!!!
Nigerians have gotten so used to "no matter what, we'll survive". It's really baaaaaddddd. Imagine a corper complaining about the situation of the country and some poor, foolish people were asking her if she's the only one suffering in the country. 🤦🏾♀️

Welcome!🤗
Oh God what have I done. 😪
Honestly babe. If you’re not a nervous wreck on days like this, you need to get some food in your system for strength to face the day.
I sincerely hope it goes well and you don’t have to face the rigors of this horrible system.
Also wishing you the best in your exams!🤗❤️
400/400 amen!!!
Honestly, I wish I could just opt out of the entire thing, but thanks for your well wishes🤗
Wonderful piece 🥂
Thank you, Chibueze❤️

Thank you for this wonderful piece, Lara.
I can relate to almost everything you've stated here. I really feel the system is designed to frustrate and stifle potential which is really sad.
If I share my experience, the world will admire my resilience, I hope we all thrive in the end.
I hope we do🤲🏽
You’re welcome!

It’s tragic and pathetic.
